Kelsey Briggs | Minneapolis/St. Paul
Kelsey graduated from university in 2017 where she studied peace and conflict in addition to earning a degree in social work. During that time, she discovered an interest and passion for working alongside displaced people. Having had the opportunity to spend time with forced migrants in Boston, MA and Rome, Italy, she continued to grow in her desire to see more just and hospitable communities welcoming those who have been forcibly displaced.
After joining IAFR and having the opportunity to work with them in both Italy and the United States, she is increasingly convinced that communities of faith play an integral role in offering restorative hope and peace, and is hopeful that these things can exist, even amidst deep suffering.
