There were around 40 million forcibly displaced people in the world back in 2009 when we started. There are over 100 million today. The weight of this reality weighs heavy on our hearts. There is so much to be done.

The Church has an important role to play.

We are convinced that the Church has an important role to play in the lives of people seeking refuge. Followers of Jesus need us to show up in ways that rehumanize and strengthen hope. This is not something humanitarian agencies are able to do.

Our strategy

Our strategy is twofold. We are mobilizing people to serve with us in places God calls us to show up. But our vision is bigger than anything we can accomplish on our own. So, we are also training and consulting with churches, mission agencies, international networks, and others who share our burden.

I will give a big picture overview of refugee realities in the world and interview Pastor Jean Pierre Gatera, our Refugee Church Consultant.
