Daunte Wright
Apr 12, 2021
- Tom Albinson
As a Minneapolis based nonprofit, our hearts ache along with many in the Twin Cities as we have lost Daunte Wright, an unarmed Black Minnesotan, to another act of senseless and unnecessary police aggression and violence.
Even as we grieve, we refuse to lose hope that there will be a day when people like Daunte Wright, George Floyd, Jamar Clark, and Philando Castile can walk the streets of our city without fear.
Until that day has come, we are committed to seeing, exposing, confronting, and rooting out racism and white privilege within our own hearts as well as in the communities in which we live and serve.
