Interview with a Refugee Pastor

This is a recording of a LIVE Zoom interview with Pastor Jean Pierre Gatera by IAFR President, Tom Albinson.

Pastor Gatera was born to refugee parents in Rwanda. He was uprooted again during the 1994 genocide. He spent nearly 20 years in Kakuma refugee camp, Kenya, before being resettled to the USA in 2016.

Pastor Gatera shares important personal insights into the role of churches in the lives of refugees. He also shares about the experience of refugee churches in countries of resettlement.
