Heading to Kakuma

I'm heading back to Kakuma refugee camp this week. I'll be taking a team of 3 others, including Dr. George Kalantzis (Professor of Theology), and Stan and Margaret Diddams.

We will offer theological training and explore the possibility of helping an association of over 160 churches in the camp and surrounding host community develop a new income generation program for women.

While the highlight of these visits is spending time with our brothers and sisters there, I am also looking forward to seeing the 3 new classrooms IAFR funded this year on the KISOM campus. We will also visit some of the shelters and churches we have helped build.
