The big guy in this photo is high as a kite.
I was walking down a back street in Kakuma refugee camp when he came up to me and told me in pretty good English, “I am really smart - even though I never went to school.”
So I asked him, “Why didn’t you go to school?”
He quickly replied, “Because I have no hope.”
I felt the weight.
