Kakuma

A street in the oldest part of Kakuma refugee camp. The camp was created in 1992 in response to a massive influx of people fleeing war in Sudan.

I first visited Kakuma in 2001. It didn't take long after founding IAFR in 2009 to return and begin our longstanding partnership with refugee churches.
