Pastor Timothy (photo) is a refugee pastor in Kakuma refugee camp (Kenya). He's from war torn Sudan. In spite of his many losses and the daily struggle to survive in the camp, his smile is infectious and his presence brings peace. As a refugee pastor, he shepherds an entire church of people who have been stripped of their place in the world.

He and his family will be celebrating Christmas in the refugee camp as we celebrate in our homes. And there will be joy as we celebrate together. For the wonder of God the Son becoming a baby boy and living among us has transformed us all.
