Rebuilding (update)
Oct 5, 2022
- Tom Albinson

I last wrote about how a church in Kakuma refugee camp was destroyed by a recent storm. Thanks to our generous financial partners, we were able to quickly provide $1500 for building materials so that the church can rebuild. It has been encouraging to see how fast our refugee church partner has been able to get the materials and start building.
I will visit the camp later this month and look forward to seeing the new building.
The refugee churches offer people a safe space in which to gather for worship, for fellowship, and for a variety of ministries that help people survive and recover from forced displacement.
Thanks to every financial partner that makes it possible for us to encourage and help them in such practical ways.
