Water!

I have waited many years for this day!

I just put my head under the refreshing clean water pouring out of a borehole four miles away from this water kiosk (dispensary).

IAFR has spent the last eight years working on this water project together with our implementing partner, National Council of Churches Kenya (NCCK). The semi desert here in Kakuma, Kenya, doesn’t make projects like this easy.

But the borehole we finally drilled turned out to produce nearly twice as much water as most in the region - and the quality of the water is excellent! I thank God as many people will finally have access to safe drinking water.

I learned that by putting a water kiosk in this place, a school is likely to follow. The water project is going to have a ripple effect that will change many lives for the better.
